How to return an item purchased online.

Richards & Richards take great care to ensure our garments are made to the highest quality and meet your expectations.

If your purchase, however, does not fit, may not be suitable, or has failed to meet the quality standards we set, you may exchange or return your item for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase.

Returns for a full refund must be based on the original form of payment and all garments must be returned in original condition with all packaging, labeling and tickets intact.

Sale items purchased online may not be returned for exchange or refund.



Sign into your account and under ‘Order History’ select the order number containing the items you would like to return.

Note the items you would like to return & send us an email with the reason you are sending your items back. If an item is faulty please provide details how.

To request a refund, select how you would like to be credited. This needs to match the original payment method used.

Once this information is deemed appropriate, you will receive an email containing a label attachment for your return within 48 hours.


If your garment does not fit, we will replace the item for a different size, subject to availability, free of charge.

Please note that we only offer size exchanges.


If you have received an item as a gift, you may exchange it for a store credit to your Richards & Richards account after you register your details. See the section 'How to return your purchase from richardsandrichards.com.au' above. The amount will be available for your next purchase via a coupon code, valid for one year.


Garments are classified as faulty if they are received damaged. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

Your refund will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase and will include any shipping costs for faulty items.


We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the garments that appear on our web site.

However, as computer monitors vary we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of colour will be completely accurate.

All our garments are checked for any faults prior to shipment.

Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition please contact our service team immediately on info@richardsandrichards.com.au


We prefer that you return any items to our address as indicated on our return label, sent to you via email upon receipt of your return request. We will endeavour to respond to you within 48 hours. However, you may also return the goods to our head office at 11A, 23 James St, FORTITUDE VALLEY, QLD 4006.

We request that you contact us at info@richardsandrichards.com.au before sending any returns.


Items should be returned new, unused, and with all Richards & Richards garment tags attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.


All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box. Shoes that are returned without a box or with marked soles may not be accepted.

If you are under 18 years you must let your parent or guardian know about Richards & Richards Privacy Policy before you register to use the site or any of the site’s services. We reserve the right to accept orders only from those over 18 years however.

We may modify our Terms and Conditions from time to time.


Richards & Richards collect personal information in several ways when you place an order or register for a service offered by Richards & Richards. By registering, you are consenting to the collection of your personal data. If an order is placed with us, we need to hold personal information including your name, email address, phone numbers and home address so that we can process and fulfil your order.

For your security we do not save card details, thus they will never be shared with third parties and will only be used to process your order. For more information regarding information collection, see Paypal's security procedures.


When you register, you will be given the option to unsubscribe from our regular update service which will send you email alerts for new products, sale promotions and special offers.

We do not sell or otherwise pass your details to third parties for marketing purposes. Marketing communication you subscribe to will only be sent by Richards & Richards.

At all times, you will have the choice to unsubscribe out of any service or update to which you have subscribed. All emails we send you will contain an automated unsubscribe link. To opt out of any Direct Mail service please contact our service team at info@richardsandrichards.com.au.


Richards & Richards take all reasonable steps to maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the information you have provided us with. When you place your order or access your account information, a secure socket layer (SSL) encryption is used to encrypt your information, protecting it from unauthorised use.
